Inside this modern three storey house the function and sizes of rooms are not only defined by protruding canopies and cube forms, but also contrasting materials and glazing. The exterior surfaces of each room are clad with either brick, stucco, cedar wood cladding or red composite panels.
The ground floor includes a den, a modern style kitchen, dining room and family room with a fireplace and higher ceiling. The latter also opens into a wood deck area with its own wood burning fireplace. Second storey has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. The third storey which houses the master bedroom, master ensuite bathroom, large walk-in closet and a balcony, comes out in an angle to deconstruct the strict geometric grid of the house and along with the contrasting material colours creates an interesting modern composition.
