The George Anderson residence Is a contemporary design with large overhangs that almost appear to float in mid-air. The exterior is clad in elements of stone, stucco, and longboard. Large feature walls are used on the exterior to create breaks between each element and add to the scale of this project. The use of deep overhangs creates ample shading for this house’s extensive amount of glazing allowing us to maximize views and opportunities for daylight in each space, with the added benefit of blocking the intense rays of summer sun, keeping the interior cool.
