The scope of work was to convert an existing 2 1/2 story home into a full 3 story home with a new addition complete with a flat roof to create a more contemporary feeling rear elevation.

The home's facade was modernized, but we decided to maintain key traditional architectural features to create a healthy balance between old and new. A new roof profile was chosen for the front to create visual interest along with a new dormer that allows the home to read as a cohesive member of the existing architectural character in the neighborhood.   

The interior features rich finishes, dark painted accent walls and black metal grating in the kitchen compliment large oak paneling that strongly contribute to the home's homogeneous interior material palette.
